Calculator inputs are processed in the browser for estimate purposes. PaycheckIndex does not require an account and does not ask users to submit payroll, tax, or employment records.

Basic technical information may be processed by hosting, security, analytics, or advertising providers, such as page URL, browser information, approximate location, device information, IP address, cookies, or similar identifiers.

Analytics and advertising

When Google Analytics or Google advertising products are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to measure usage, serve ads, limit ad frequency, and improve ad quality.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to PaycheckIndex or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized ads based on those visits.

Users can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Users may also visit YourAdChoices to learn about opting out of some third-party vendors' uses of cookies for personalized advertising.

If PaycheckIndex enables additional third-party advertising vendors or ad networks, this policy will identify them or link to their disclosures so users can review their practices and available opt-out choices.

Consent choices in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

When Google advertising is enabled, visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be shown a consent message through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) where required. The message will provide the available choices for personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads, and visitors will be able to revisit those choices.

Shared links

Shared calculator links may include UTM parameters so PaycheckIndex can understand whether a visit came from a page share or a shared calculation result.
